How may we help you?

Instructors’ Common Questions

Q. Who can teach on Home EDventure?

Anyone 18+ who has a passion for teaching and passes our screening process, including background checks (e.g., WWCC), can apply to teach.

Q. Do I need to be a certified teacher?

No. We welcome a wide range of educators—qualified teachers, professionals, hobbyists, and experienced parents. What matters most is a strong knowledge of your subject and excellent classroom skills.

Q. How do I apply to become an educator?

You’ll fill out an application form, submit your Working With Children Check (or equivalent), and provide a sample class plan. After review, we’ll invite you to an onboarding session if approved.

Q. How do I get paid?

You set your own class prices. We use third-party payment processors ( Stripe) and pay you after platform fees are deducted.

Q. Can I teach students from other countries?

Yes! Our platform is global. Keep time zones in mind when scheduling.

Q. Do I have to record classes?

Yes. All classes must be recorded as part of our child safety policy. These recordings help resolve concerns and maintain high quality.

Q. What support do you provide educators?

We offer training, resources, and access to an educator community. You’re never on your own—we’re here to help you succeed.

Q. Can I offer faith-based classes?

Yes. While we are open to all types of content, classes with religious themes must be clearly labelled and respectful of diverse backgrounds.
