Welcome! We’re excited to have you join the Home EDventure teaching community. This agreement outlines the standards and commitments expected of all educators to ensure a safe, professional, and enriching learning environment for all students.

1. Eligibility & Screening

•You must be at least 18 years old.

•You agree to provide a valid Working With Children Check (or equivalent), background check, and any other documentation required by Home EDventure.

•You certify that you have no criminal convictions that would affect your ability to work with children.

2. Professional Conduct

•You will conduct yourself with integrity, respect, and kindness at all times.

•You will communicate professionally with parents, students, and the Home EDventure team.

•You will not engage in discriminatory, harassing, or inappropriate behaviour.

3. Class Preparation & Delivery

•You agree to prepare thoroughly for each class, ensuring content is accurate, age-appropriate, and engaging.

•All classes must be conducted live online through approved platforms (e.g., Jetsi Meet, Zoom, Google Meet).

•You agree to keep cameras on and microphones clear during classes, maintaining a professional teaching presence.

4. Child Safety & Privacy

•You must never request or share personal contact information (phone numbers, addresses, emails) with students or parents outside of the Home EDventure platform.

•All classes will be recorded by Home EDventure for safety and quality assurance purposes. You agree to this recording.

•You agree to report any concerns related to student safety or inappropriate behaviour immediately to Home EDventure.

5. Use of Platform & Tools

•You will use only approved third-party tools and software for delivering classes.

•You are responsible for your own equipment, internet connection, and environment to ensure high-quality delivery.

•You agree not to share or distribute any recorded class content outside of Home EDventure.

6. Intellectual Property

•You represent and warrant that all teaching materials you provide are your original work or that you have full rights to use them.

•You grant Home EDventure a non-exclusive license to use your content for platform promotion and operations.

7. Payment & Fees

•You will set your class prices within the guidelines provided by Home EDventure.

•Home EDventure will collect payments from families, deduct platform fees, and pay you according to the agreed schedule.

•You understand that payments depend on families’ timely enrollment and payment.

8. Cancellation & Refunds

•You agree to notify Home EDventure and enrolled families at least 24 hours in advance of any class cancellations.

•You will provide refunds or reschedule classes in accordance with Home EDventure’s cancellation policy.

9. Termination

•Home EDventure reserves the right to suspend or terminate your educator account for violations of this agreement, including but not limited to breaches of safety, professionalism, or legal requirements.

10. Agreement Confirmation

By teaching on Home EDventure, you agree to all terms above and commit to fostering a safe, joyful, and respectful learning community.
