Community Guidelines & Code of Conduct

Community Guidelines & Code of Conduct

Effective Date: 2nd June 2025

At Home EDventure, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and uplifting online learning community for children, parents, and educators across the globe. These guidelines outline the standards of behaviour expected from all users of our platform.

1. Respect Is Non-Negotiable

We expect everyone—parents, children, and educators—to treat one another with kindness, respect, and dignity.

Do:

•Use polite and encouraging language.

•Show patience and understanding with learners of all levels.

•Respect cultural, personal, and faith-based differences.

Don’t:

•Use rude, hateful, or offensive language.

•Bully, harass, or target others based on appearance, race, beliefs, or abilities.

2. Safe Spaces for Children

We are a child-focused platform. Every interaction must contribute to a safe and positive learning environment.

Parents:

•Monitor your child’s participation and provide support when needed.

•Use appropriate names and profile images for children (no photos of the child’s face).

•Report any concerns immediately.

Educators:

•Maintain professional boundaries and language at all times.

•Never ask for or share personal contact information.

•Use only approved tools for teaching and communication.

3. No Inappropriate Content

All class materials, messages, usernames, and interactions must be suitable for children.

Prohibited content includes:

•Violence, profanity, or explicit material

•Unverified health, political, or religious claims intended to persuade or manipulate

•External promotions or ads not approved by Home EDventure

4. Privacy and Data Safety

Do not share private or sensitive information about yourself or others, including:

•Full names, addresses, or phone numbers

•Social media accounts or external links

•Screenshots or recordings of classes (unless officially provided)

Class recordings are for platform use only and may not be copied, shared, or published elsewhere.

5. Technology Etiquette

Be mindful of the online classroom space:

•Keep microphones muted when not speaking.

•Avoid distracting behaviour on camera.

•Log in on time and stay engaged.

6. Honouring Educators and Class Structure

Educators prepare thoughtfully for each session. Please:

•Be on time and ready to learn.

•Avoid disruptive or disrespectful behaviour.

•Follow instructions and complete tasks as required.

Educators have the right to remove a student from a class if they are causing harm to the learning environment.

7. Reporting Concerns

If you see something that doesn’t feel right, speak up.

You can report:

•Unsafe, inappropriate, or unkind behaviour

•Technical issues or educator concerns

•Any violations of these community guidelines

We take all reports seriously and investigate thoroughly while protecting your privacy.

To report, email us at: admin@homeedventure.com.au

8. Consequences for Violations

We reserve the right to:

•Remove or restrict content

•Suspend or terminate accounts

•Deny access to future classes

This applies to both students and educators who violate our Code of Conduct.

9. Our Heart as a Community

While we welcome families of all backgrounds, we strive to reflect love, excellence, and integrity in all we do. This is more than a learning platform—it’s a community built on trust.

We’re here to serve families. Let’s protect this space together.
