About This Course

What would you do if a volcano erupted near your town? How do communities prepare for β€” and survive β€” nature’s most powerful and destructive events?

Each week your child will explore a different natural disaster from around the globe β€” learning where it happens, why it happens, and what smart survival and preparation actually looks like. Part geography, part survival skills, part hands-on challenge β€” this class is completely fascinating and genuinely eye opening.

This term your child will tackle:

  • πŸŒ‹ Volcanoes β€” plan an evacuation route for a town in danger
  • 🌊 Tsunamis β€” race against the clock with a 3 minute escape route challenge
  • πŸŒͺ️ Tornadoes, hurricanes and cyclones β€” build the ultimate survival kit
  • πŸ’§ Floods β€” engineer a dam to protect a town from rising water
  • πŸ”₯ Wildfires β€” design firebreaks and safe zones to save a community
  • 🌍 Plus earthquakes and a dramatic grand finale survival challenge to close out the term!
